Thank you for improving your horses nutrition

The first step in tailoring your nutrition programme to your unique horse and unique situation is gathering information. Please follow the steps below to get started.

Nutrition Information & Health Form

Please click the button below to go to the Google Form. Some of the questions you will be able to answer right away, some you will need to gather photos and measurements.

If you close the form before you have finished - use your browser's history (like Chrome's "Recently Closed" option), check for an "Edit your response" link (if you've submitted)Use Browser History;
Look for a "Recently closed tabs" option in your browser's history menu (e.g., in Chrome, click the three-dot menu in the top right, then History).

You will be emailed a copy of your answers and a link to go back in an add more information as you gather it.

  • Measuring tape approximately 3 metres minimum. This will be used to measure your horse's length, height etc following the guidelines in the Nutrition Information & Health Form.
  • Camera - the quality on phone camera's is all you need. This will be used to take photos of your horse from a few of angles (examples in the Google Form) and your pasture
  • Kitchen/Bathroom Scales to weight your feed and supplements
  • Health records with dates for worming and dental treatments (if you have them)
  • Pasture Identification Booklet if you are unfamiliar with naming the grasses in your paddock - please see No. 2 below

Pasture Identification Guide

Pasture is often filled with a range of grass species. These all have varying nutrition profiles and it is important I have a comprehensive understanding of what your horse is eating.

Checklist for emailing your information to Dale at info@dlequine.co.nz

To ensure the process of formulating your diet is as quick and complete as possible, please ensure you are emailing the following:

  • Fully completed Nutrition Information & Health Form for each horse
  • 4 photos of your horse as per the form - left side, right side, angles, front on, from behind 
  • 4 photos of the pasture your horse(s) are currently grazing
  • 1 photo of your horse(s) feces

What Happens Next

Once you sent the form and photos back to me, we can have a chat over the phone or facebook messenger chats and discuss my initial findings and go further from there with an individual formulation.

Please note in the terms and conditions included in the purchase of this programme that I require all horse information within 30 days of purchase. This is to avoid delays and give your horse the best possible nutrition programme that is current and effective, whilst allowing me to manage my workload and make your horse a priority. Should life happen and you come across a delay, please communicate with me so that we can make a plan.
